DSTC- Richard O'Brien's “The Rocky Horror Show" Auditions (Monday, July 25th @ 7PM)

Central MN Theatre & Divergent Stars Theatre Co. are proud to present auditions at The Red Carpet Nightclub, for the second year in a row, for the cult classic Richard O’ Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show!”

Prudish, run of the mill, and recently affianced couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss find themselves caught with a flat while on their way to visit their beloved professor (the man who started it all) to announce their good news. After seeking shelter from a sudden thunderstorm in a nearby castle, the young couple find themselves, much to their dismay, in the presence of Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, a mad scientist with an insatiable libido that even makes the devil himself blush. With misadventures happening left and right thanks to Frank and his cohorts, Brad and Janet begin to question everything they THOUGHT they knew. Paying homage to the classic sci-fi B-movies with a dash of horror genres and a splash of rock n roll, "The Rocky Horror Show" is a hilarious and wild story that audiences won’t ever forget.

Auditions will take place at The Red Carpet - Main Stage on Monday, July 25th and Tuesday, July 26th. Auditions will be first come, first serve within your registered time slot.

Following registration you will receive an email from your director which will provide you with selections of music and a handful of monologues to choose from for your audition that match your desired character. Please be patient regarding audition materials as these emails are manually initiated.

MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO AUDITION

Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, July 27th. A cast meeting will be hold on Thursday, July 28th. Please be aware you may be needed from 6pm-9pm both days. 

If you are not needed for callbacks we will notify you promptly.

Please note if you are not called back, you may still be casted.

Official times for callbacks and the cast meeting regarding who will be needed will be communicated the night before via email.
