"The Rocky Horror Show" Auditions

Divergent Stars Theatre is in search of talent for our upcoming annual production of “Rocky Horror!”

Auditions will be August 5-7 at Studio CMNT downtown Sauk Rapids and will perform on the Main Stage at the Red Carpet Nightclub mid-October.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic musical that follows the story of Brad and Janet, a newly engaged couple who find themselves stranded at the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a mad scientist from the planet Transsexual. As they navigate the bizarre and seductive world of Frank-N-Furter, Brad and Janet encounter a host of colorful characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. The show is a campy, sci-fi, horror-comedy that has captivated audiences with its catchy rock tunes, outrageous costumes, and memorable performances.   THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW

Auditions will be first come, first serve within your registered time slot. Parking logistics will be provided in your confirmation email.

You will receive an email from your director regarding audition materials & expectations as auditions near. 

Callbacks will be held in-person only on Thursday, August 8. Those required at callbacks will be announced the day of or earlier. Please note you may be required from 7pm-9:30pm this day. If you are not needed for callbacks, don't stress as you may still be cast.

Our initial cast meeting will be held on Monday, August 12. Casting will be announced the day of or earlier. Please note you will be required from 7pm-9:30pm this day.

Rehearsals will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7PM-9:30PM starting August 14.

Mandatory tech rehearsals will be October 7-10 from 6pm - 10pm.

Mandatory dress rehearsals will be October 15-16, & 23 from 6pm - 10pm.

Performances will be at The Red Carpet Nightclub on October 17, 18, 24, 25, 26.
