Rick Cicharz and Spencer Gillian's adaptation of “A Christmas Carol" Auditions

Central MN Theatre and Better Times Theatre Company is proud to present auditions for Rick Cicharz and Spencer Gillian's adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"

"A Christmas Carol" is a classic holiday musical about the importance of forgiveness, facing your past, and what the joy of generosity can bring you. Follow Scrooge on his magical journey with three spirits that show him his wrong doings. Filled with your favorite Christmas carols, this show is fun for the whole family!

At auditions each grouping will learn and perform a small dance and then audition individually for their vocal performance privately. After your vocal audition you will be able to leave.   

Those who audition at this time may be asked to stay for callbacks, which will be at 7PM tomorrow, Friday September 9th.

Following registration, you will receive an email from your director which will provide you selections of music and a handful of monologues to choose from for your audition. Feel free to prepare one monologue and one piece of music from the selections given OR prepare a monologue and one piece of music of your choosing. (Music selection must be less than 1 min)

MUST BE 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO AUDITION

8-12 YEAR OLDS MUST HAVE A PARENT CASTED IN PRODUCTION

13-17 YEAR OLDS MUST ATTEND AN ADDITIONAL CAST MEETING BEFORE CASTED

Callbacks will be held at St. John Cantius Catholic Church on Friday, September 9th from 7PM-9PM. 

Our initial cast meeting/rehearsal will be Monday, September 12th at 6PM.
