Rick Cicharz and Spencer Gillian's adaptation of “A Christmas Carol" Auditions

Central MN Theatre and Better Times Theatre Company is proud to present auditions for Rick Cicharz and Spencer Gillian's adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"

"A Christmas Carol" is a classic holiday musical about the importance of forgiveness, facing your past, and what the joy of generosity can bring you. Follow Scrooge on his magical journey with three spirits that show him his wrong doings. Filled with your favorite Christmas carols, this show is fun for the whole family!

Auditions will take place Wednesday, September 7th and Thursday, September 8th from 6pm - 9 pm at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud.

The following time slots are available for your audition: 

- Wednesday, September 7th (6:10pm - 7:20pm)

- Wednesday, September 7th (7:30pm - 8:40pm)

- Thursday, September 8th (6:10pm - 7:20pm)

- Thursday, September 8th (7:30pm - 8:40pm)

Each grouping will learn and perform a small dance and then audition individually for their vocal performance privately. After your vocal audition you will be able to leave.

Following registration, you will receive an email from your director which will provide you selections of music and a handful of monologues to choose from for your audition. Feel free to prepare one monologue and one piece of music from the selections given OR prepare a monologue and one piece of music of your choosing. (Music selection must be less than 1 min)

MUST BE 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO AUDITION

8-12 YEAR OLDS MUST HAVE A PARENT CASTED IN PRODUCTION

13-17 YEAR OLDS MUST ATTEND AN ADDITIONAL CAST MEETING BEFORE CASTED

Callbacks will be held at St. John Cantius Catholic Church on Friday, September 9th from 6pm-8pm. You will be notified regarding callbacks late Thursday, September 8th

Please note if you are not called back, you may still be casted.

Official times for callbacks and the cast meeting regarding who will be needed will be communicated the night before via email.
